Direct Deposit

Direct deposit is a safe and secure way to have your money deposited directly into your checking or savings account. The most common use of direct deposit is for payroll, although other uses include other regularly scheduled checks like federal & state government benefits, pension, and investment income. You may also "send" occasional or recurring deposits or payments to other financial institutions from your credit union account. When you use direct deposit, you allow your employer or financial institution to electronically transfer money into your account(s). So instead of taking the time to cash a check yourself, the money will automatically be deposited into your account on an agreed-upon date. It's that simple.

Direct deposit offers you many advantages over checks including: security, reliability, flexibility, and convenience.

Incoming Direct Deposits to your credit union account are free of charge. There is a one-time $5 fee to setup an outgoing Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) from the credit union to another financial institution.
